Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, identification and evaluation methods for the economic operation of mechanical oil production systems. This standard applies to pumping unit oil production systems, electric submersible centrifugal pump oil production systems and ground-driven screw pump oil production systems. Other mechanical oil production systems may be implemented as a reference.
