Scope

This standard specifies the basis for the design of lifting processes for self-injection, conventional rod pumps, screw pumps, electric submersible pumps and continuous gas lift production wells, productivity predictions, selection of lifting process methods and design content. This standard is applicable to the preparation of lifting process design for adjustment wells in new areas or blocks.
