Scope
This standard sets out the oil and gas industry’s recommended practices for both owners and contractors in the contractor safety performance management process. This standard applies to the safety and health performance management of contractors in the oil and gas industry. This standard does not apply to chore contractors that generally do not have an impact on facility safety, such as contractors engaged in cleaning, laundry, and handling (delivery); it does not apply to the management of public safety-related issues.
