Scope

This standard specifies well control evaluation and control of high-risk wells in underground operations, well control design, installation, pressure testing, use and maintenance of well control devices, prevention of overflow, treatment of overflow, prevention of secondary risks after overflow, and blowout Technical requirements such as out-of-control rescue. This standard is applicable to the pressure control of oil, gas, and water wells in onshore oil and gas fields during downhole operations. It is not applicable to sidetracking, deepening drilling, original drilling rig oil (gas) testing, original drilling rig testing, and original drilling rig commissioning operations.
