Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, calibration conditions, calibration items and calibration methods for petroleum-specific taper thread calibration gauges (hereinafter referred to as calibration gauges). This standard applies to the calibration of newly manufactured, in-use and repaired calibration gauges.
