Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, testing and acceptance, marking, packaging and storage, quality assurance period, etc. of axial flow turbochargers (hereinafter referred to as superchargers) for railway power plant diesel engines. This standard applies to axial flow turbochargers for diesel engines in new railway power units. Radial flow turbochargers may be used as a reference.
