Introduction
Analysis of the Evolution of Standard Technology
| Technical Indicators | 2002 Edition of the Standard | 2008 Edition of the Standard | Improvement Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Architecture | Divided into 4 independent standards | Integrated into 2-part system | Centralized test methods |
| Sealing Test | Only specifies engine oil medium | Adds compressed air solution | Expands detection scenarios |
| High Temperature Test | 120℃/72h | 135℃/96h | 42% more severe |
Analysis of core test methods
4. Filter sealing test
Use clean engine oil filtered by 260 mesh filter, and maintain pressure at 1.5 times the working pressure for 5 minutes at 75±5℃. Innovatively, it allows the use of alternative oils with a kinematic viscosity of 20-30mm²/s, or compressed air at room temperature (maintain pressure for 3 minutes).
6. Original resistance test
Key control parameters:
- Oil temperature control accuracy: ±5℃ (75℃ benchmark)
- Pipeline configuration requirements: oil inlet pipe ≥10d, oil outlet pipe ≥5d (d is the pipe diameter)
- Measurement accuracy: flow rate ±1%, pressure drop ±2.5kPa
Implementation suggestions
Laboratory construction requirements
Required configuration: constant temperature oil tank system, automatic particle counter, high-pressure oil pump unit. It is recommended to establish a hydraulic schematic identification system according to ISO 1219-1 standard.
Typical fault handling
When the pressure drop decreases with increasing flow rate during the high pressure drop test, the test should be terminated immediately to check the damage of the filter element structure, with special attention paid to the welding part of the end cover and the joint of the pleats.
Technical extension application
This standard test method can be extended to:
- Engineering machinery hydraulic oil filter life assessment
- Gas turbine lubricating oil system cleanliness control
- Marine diesel engine two-stage filtration system verification
