本标准规定了机车车辆用三相异步电机的技术特性、试验方法、验收规则及要求。
本标准适用于干线铁道用电力机车、内燃机车、动机组和车辆用的劈相机和有劈相机、或由交流铺助发电机、或由电子变流器供电的用于驱动空气压缩机、风机或其他铺助机械的三相鼠笼型异步电动机，但不包括控制电机。

Scope

This standard specifies the technical characteristics, test methods, acceptance rules and requirements for three-phase asynchronous motors for rolling stock. This standard applies to electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, EMUs and rolling stock used in main line railways and splitters powered by splitters, AC auxiliary generators, or electronic converters for driving air compressors, fans or Three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motors for other auxiliary machinery, but not including control motors. If a three-phase asynchronous motor with special requirements, such as a pole-changing motor, is selected to drive the above-mentioned auxiliary machinery, in addition to meeting the technical conditions of the series, it should also meet the relevant provisions of this standard. Hereinafter, the three-phase squirrel-cage asynchronous motor is referred to as the motor, and the splitter and the electric motor generally refer to the motor.
