Scope

This standard specifies the health protection requirements for radioactive materials transported by railways, including exposure dose limits for workers, radioactive contamination limits on the surface of radioactive packages and transportation vehicles, decontamination treatment requirements, and requirements for surface contamination levels on the body surface of workers and workplaces, Radioactive package transportation levels and radiation level limits, safety and health protection for decontamination treatment. This standard applies to safety and health protection for railway transportation of radioactive materials, detection of radioactive packages, and decontamination of railway radioactive contaminated trucks.
