Scope
This standard stipulates the general requirements for fuel preheating of diesel locomotives, and sets out requirements for fuel preheaters, valves and exhaust devices required for the fuel temperature to be at or above the minimum temperature limit to ensure normal starting of the diesel engine. This standard applies to diesel locomotive fuel preheating systems.
