Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, test items, test levels, performance evaluation and limits for electromagnetic compatibility testing of rolling stock electrical equipment. This standard specifies the limits and test methods for electromagnetic emissions and immunity tests related to conducted and radiated disturbances. These limits and tests represent basic electromagnetic compatibility requirements. This standard applies to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission disturbance and immunity of railway rolling stock electrical equipment. The frequency range is from DC to 400GHz. Currently, tests for frequencies above 1GHz have not been defined. The specific test methods and limits are related to the equipment, structure, ports, processes and working conditions used. This standard takes into account the internal environment of railway rolling stock and the external environment of the railway, as well as the interference of other equipment on the equipment, such as portable radio transmitting devices. If a port is used for transmitting or receiving radio frequency communications, the emission and immunity limits for radio frequency frequencies in this standard do not apply. This standard does not apply to extreme situations such as transient emissions when starting or stopping equipment. Appropriate emission requirements should be selected to ensure that equipment operating normally on rolling stock does not generate disturbances above a level that would interfere with the normal operation of other equipment. Likewise, immunity requirements should be selected to ensure that electrical equipment on rolling stock Have the right level of immunity. These levels do not include extreme cases that are very unlikely. Special requirements that are inconsistent with this standard need to be pointed out. Test requirements for each port are also specified in this standard.
