Scope

This standard applies to the design and manufacture of electrical devices and equipment on rolling stock in the railway transportation system, externally powered road vehicles (trams), maglev vehicles and other rolling stock to protect relevant personnel from electric shock. According to different operations The requirements are different from the steps. This standard does not apply to:
　——mining railways in underground mines;
　——railway hoists, mobile platforms and similar transport systems;
　——ropeways;
　——temporary installations. Test rolling stock according to standard requirements, see IEC6 11330.
