Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, material requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of anti-slip fasteners for railway freight cars (hereinafter referred to as "fasteners"). This standard applies to various types of fasteners used to manually tighten the handbrake on the ground to prevent the vehicle from slipping away when the railway freight train is parked on the line.
