Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for the E/G interface of the railway digital mobile communication system (GSM-R) (hereinafter referred to as the "GSM-R system"), that is, the interface between the mobile switching center/visitor location register (MSC/VLR) and the mobile switching center/visitor location register (MSC/VVLR). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and testing of GSM-R system products.
