Standard Framework and Technology Evolution

TB/T 3453.2-2016, as the core standard of the railway industry, has established a complete EMU test terminology system. The standard was jointly compiled by leading enterprises such as CRRC Sifang and Tangche, inheriting the GB/T 1.1 standardization work guidelines, reflecting the ten-year technical accumulation of the CRH series EMUs.

Analysis of key test technologies

Traction performance test

The traction characteristic test of EMU includes 9 core indicators:

  • Starting acceleration: 0-200km/h acceleration time ≤320s
  • Grid voltage fluctuation range: 17.5kV-31kV continuous operation
  • Idling suppression response: ≤0.5s detection and adjustment

Electromagnetic compatibility test

Taking CR400BF as an example, its electromagnetic compatibility test must meet the following requirements:

  1. RF interference field strength ≤30dBμV/m(30MHz-1GHz)
  2. Electrostatic discharge immunity ±8kV(air discharge)
  3. Grid-side harmonic THD<5%

Implementation Suggestions

It is recommended that test institutions focus on:

  1. Establish equivalence evaluation between rolling vibration table and real vehicle test
  2. Improve the network control test procedures for multiple EMUs
  3. Develop an intelligent test data management system
