Introduction

Technical background and evolution of standards

With the increasing requirements for urban water environment management, traditional interception wells can no longer meet the needs of precise rainwater and sewage diversion and backflow prevention. This standard systematically regulates the technical system of intelligent interception wells for the first time. Its technical evolution can be divided into three stages:

Analysis of core technical requirements

Structural design specifications

Chapter 5 of the standard stipulates that the intelligent interception well must include the following functional modules:

  • Dual-channel structure: The sewage interception channel and the rainwater discharge channel are designed independently
  • Anti-backflow device: A check valve structure using patented technology (201820111976.X)
  • Monitoring system: Online monitoring of three parameters: liquid level, flow and water quality

Intelligent control process

Article 6.3 of the standard clearly states that the control logic should be implemented:

  1. Dry season: full interception mode (sewage channel 100% open)
  2. At the beginning of rainfall: dynamically adjust the interception ratio according to the water quality threshold
  3. During flood season: automatically switch to direct discharge mode and start anti-backflow
