Scope

This standard specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, test results and test reports of the thermogravimetric method for determining the weighting agent content in mulberry or tussah silk. This standard is applicable to the determination of the weighting agent content in natural products after weighting pure mulberry silk or pure tussah silk through inorganic salt weighting, graft copolymerization weighting, and silk fibroin solution weighting.
