Key Technical Requirements
The standard innovatively specifies the three core characteristics of washable silk products:
- Water washing durability: filament cotton needs to pass 10 washing tests, medium and long filament cotton needs to pass 5 washing tests
- Fiber integrity: the content of short fibers below 5cm must be less than 10%, and weight gain treatment is prohibited
- Ecological safety: fluorescent brighteners must not be detected, and heavy metal residues must comply with GB 18401
Key points of detection methods
Residual glue rate detection: FZ/T 40004 standard is adopted. The sample must be degreased according to FZ/T 40006 first. The calculation formula is:
P=(m0-m1)/m0×100%
Wherein m0 is the dry weight before degumming, m1 is the dry weight after degumming, and the average of two parallel tests is taken
Implementation suggestions
- The production process should focus on controlling the silk tendons and cotton blocks problems. High-quality products require no hard cotton blocks
- The washing test should adopt a type A standard washing machine, neutral detergent, and program 4G
- Amino acid content detection can be used as an important basis for distinguishing natural silk from chemically weighted silk
