Scope
The term "installation supervision and inspection" as mentioned in these rules refers to the special equipment approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine) during the installation (including relocation, the same below), transformation and major maintenance of the passenger cable car. The inspection and testing agency (hereinafter referred to as the inspection agency) conducts mandatory inspections on the installation, modification, and major maintenance processes of passenger cable cars in accordance with regulations and these rules; the term "periodic inspection" as mentioned in these rules refers to the inspection agency approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. The regulations and these rules provide for periodic mandatory inspections of passenger cable cars in use.
