Scope

This standard specifies the hygienic technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules for corrective glasses for children and adolescents. This standard applies to glasses formulated to correct refractive errors and amblyopia in children and adolescents based on optometry prescriptions. This standard does not apply to progressive multifocal glasses.
