Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and methods for monitoring the disinfection and sterilization effect of the hospital sterile supply center (central sterile supply department, CSSD) and the recording and traceability requirements for the quality control process. This standard applies to hospital CSSDs and social disinfection and sterilization institutions that provide disinfection and sterilization services for hospitals. For hospitals that have not yet implemented centralized management of disinfection supply work, the disinfection supply work of their operating departments (rooms) should implement this standard. Other medical institutions that have adopted centralized sewage treatment can refer to it.
