Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard replaces part of GBZ 126-2011. The main technical changes include: adding quality control test methods (Chapters 5-6), revising the test cycle (Appendix C), adding isocenter verification specifications and other 9 substantive modifications. It is applicable to the quality management of medical electron linear accelerators throughout their life cycle.

  2. Dose linearity control in dynamic treatment mode (6.1.3)
  3. treatment bed stiffness index required for three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (≤5mm)

Implementation recommendations

Medical institutions should focus on:

  • Acceptance testing must include stray radiation measurement as specified in Appendix A
  • Status testing should be conducted once a year, using the phantom layout specified in Appendix D
  • Dose repeatability in stability testing must reach ≤0.5%
