Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of mercury in urine by cold atomic absorption spectrometry (1) Alkaline stannous chloride reduction method. The minimum detection concentration is 0.5 μg/L. This standard is applicable to the determination of total mercury in urine of normal people and workers exposed to mercury vapor, inorganic mercury and organic mercury.
