Introduction

Standard Background and Significance

This standard is formulated based on the "Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" and the "Regulations on Hospital Infection Management", and puts forward technical requirements for key links such as the setting of negative pressure wards and aerosol operation protection. After its release in 2016, it has become the core specification for medical institutions at all levels to prevent and control airborne diseases such as tuberculosis and measles.

  2. Process optimization: The pre-examination and triage desk should be equipped with a non-contact thermometer and a medical surgical mask distribution device
  3. Monitoring and management: It is recommended to conduct monthly pressure difference detection of negative pressure wards, and immediate maintenance is required if the data deviation exceeds 10%

Technical evolution analysis

Compared with the 2009 version of the specification, this standard adds: ①The concept of giving priority to airborne diseases; ②The use specifications of negative pressure transfer vehicles; ③The double-layer treatment requirements for body bags to prevent leakage. It reflects the experience of prevention and control of emerging infectious diseases such as SARS and MERS.
