Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
| Protection scenarios | Core equipment | Special requirements | Hand hygiene standards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laboratory testing | Double-layer gloves + protective clothing + KN95 mask | Aerosol operation requires powered air respirator | Wear once before and after |
| Corpse handling | Thick rubber gloves + waterproof apron | Full facial protection required | Disinfection after each step |
| Epidemiological survey | Protective face shield + waterproof boots | Upgraded masks are required for close contact | Before and after contact with patients |
Analysis of key technical requirements
4.1 Principles for the selection of protective equipment
The standard clearly states that a full set of protective equipment must be used when contacting confirmed cases pollutants, of which respiratory protection must comply with the requirements of GB19083 and protective clothing should meet the standards of GB19082. Special scenarios such as corpse handling require the addition of waterproof aprons and thick gloves.
5.2 Selection of hand disinfectants
Quick-drying disinfectants containing alcohol (alcohol content ≥75%) are preferred. For those who are allergic to alcohol, quaternary ammonium salts can be used as an alternative. When there are visible contaminants, the six-step hand washing method must be used for pretreatment.
Implementation difficulties and countermeasures
Case: Wrong order of putting on and taking off protective clothing
An incident of contamination of the inside of protective clothing occurred in an isolation ward when it was removed. The reason for the analysis was that the principle of "taking off the mask last" was not followed. Standard 7.1.2 clearly stipulates that when removing, the following should be done: ① Disinfect the outer layer first ② Handle the respiratory protective equipment last ③ Disinfect hands at each step.
Background of standard evolution
This standard is upgraded based on the experience of SARS protection in 2003. The main improvements include: ① Adding the application scenario of powered air respirator ② Refining the differentiated protection of 9 groups of people ③ Introducing new equipment such as waterproof aprons. Compared with WS/T313, the hand hygiene requirement has changed from "should" to "should", and the enforcement force has been enhanced.
Compliance implementation recommendations
- Establish a three-level protection inspection mechanism (self-inspection-mutual inspection-special inspection)
- Perform airtightness test on KN95 masks before each wearing
- Set up a visual removal process guide diagram
- Implement a "double-person supervision removal" system for high-risk positions
