Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for graphite electrode sintered products. This standard applies to carbonaceous sintered products for the manufacture of ultra-high power graphite electrodes, high power graphite electrodes, impregnated graphite electrodes and ordinary power graphite electrodes (hereinafter collectively referred to as graphite electrodes).
