Scope
1.1 Coke dry quenching is an energy-saving technology that the country encourages the development of. This specification is formulated to promote the application of dry quenching technology by coke production enterprises, improve the utilization efficiency of dry quenching technology, achieve energy saving and emission reduction goals, and improve coke quality. 1.2 This standard stipulates the parameter selection of dry coke quenching equipment and the evaluation indicators of energy saving and emission reduction effects, and provides technical support and guidance for the design, construction, operation, maintenance and effect evaluation of dry coke quenching. 1.3 This standard applies to dry quenching projects for top-loading coke ovens or tamped coke ovens. 1.4 The design of dry coke quenching process and the selection of main equipment should be based on this specification and combined with actual conditions and local conditions, and the best ones should be selected after a comprehensive technical and economic comparison. 1.5 In order to respond to my country's "Guidelines for the Science and Technology Development of China's Iron and Steel Industry from 2006 to 2020", the processing capacity of the newly installed dry coke quenching device should be no less than 75t/h. Encourage the construction of large-scale dry coke quenching devices to improve energy-saving effects and reduce investment and operating costs per unit of output. It is advisable to adopt the total dry quenching method to achieve more complete energy saving and emission reduction goals. 1.6 During the use of the dry quenching device, the acceptance and use of special equipment and pollutant discharge must strictly comply with national and local production safety and environmental protection laws and regulations. 1.7 Before the dry quenching device is put into operation, the enterprise should formulate corresponding operating procedures and maintenance and inspection procedures, and equip it with specialized management and maintenance personnel.
