Scope

This standard specifies the method summary, specimens, test instruments and materials, measurement procedures, calculations, and tolerances for the determination of aluminum and iron content in steel grit aluminum. This standard is applicable to the determination of aluminum and iron content in steel grit aluminum used for metallurgical deoxidation. The range is: metallic aluminum: 5% ~ 90%, metallic iron: 5% ~ 90%.
