Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of triacetin used in the cigarette industry. This standard is applicable to glyceryl triacetate products produced by aceticization of glycerol, acetic acid or ethanol as raw materials. It is also applicable to plasticizers and flavorings in the cigarette industry and other chemical production.
