Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of triacetin in cellulose acetate filter rods (hereinafter referred to as filter rods) - gas chromatography. This standard applies to acetate fiber filter rods containing triacetin plasticizer. The detection limit of this method for the determination of triacetin in cellulose acetate filter rods is 0.10 mg/rod, and the quantification limit is 0.34 mg/rod.
