Scope
This section gives basic guidelines for mitigating harassment of telecommunications equipment in the case of external electromagnetic interference, lists existing protective measures, and analyzes the relationship between existing protective measures and lightning protection measures. This section applies to the design of protection of telecommunications equipment from external electromagnetic interference and the evaluation of the suitability of existing equipment to external electromagnetic interference.
