Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and order form (or contract) content of zirconium sponge. This standard applies to zirconium sponge produced by magnesium thermal reduction and vacuum distillation of zirconium tetrachloride.
