Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates as well as contract (or order) content for niobium ingots. This standard applies to niobium ingots produced by vacuum electron beam melting. The niobium ingot can be used as a raw material for processed products or as an additive for other alloys.
