Scope

This standard specifies the general procedures, basic principles, equipment and operating procedures for collecting and preparing samples for determining the quality characteristics of bulk laterite nickel ore. This standard is applicable to the collection and preparation of bulk laterite nickel ore samples transferred on conveyor belts, trucks, bins, ships, piles, and container bags.
