Scope
This part of YS/T 953 specifies the silicon-molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method and the perchloric acid dehydration gravimetric method for the determination of silicon content in pyrometallurgical nickel matrix materials. This section is applicable to the determination of silicon content in pyrometallurgical nickel matrix materials. The measurement range of method 1 is 0.10%~2.00%; the measurement range of method 2 is 0.50%~6.00%.
