Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage requirements for the pharmaceutical excipient sunset yellow. This standard applies to dyes obtained by coupling p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid with sodium 2-naphthol-6-sulfonate after diazotization. This product can be added to medicines as a coloring agent.
