Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings for medical skim gauze. This standard applies to gauze for medical use made of plain cotton woven from plush yarn of mature seeds that has not been repeatedly processed and degreased, bleached and refined. It must not contain other fibers and processed substances.
