Scope

This standard, together with ISO 15004-1:2006, specifies the requirements and test methods for continuous or digital indicating keratometers. Some keratometers (Type 1 in Table 1) are capable of measuring the radius of curvature of a contact lens, assuming that the anterior corneal surface and the contact lens surface are both spherical or toric. If there are differences, this standard takes precedence over ISO 15004-1:2006.
