Scope

This standard specifies the marking and type, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ophthalmic scissors. This standard is applicable to ophthalmic scissors for cutting the iris, cornea, trabeculae, membranous cataracts and conjunctiva in the eye.
