本标准代替YY 0330-2002《医用脱脂棉》。
本标准规定了医用脱脂棉的要求。
本标准适用于采用棉葵草棉属植物成熟种子的毛茸，经除去夹杂物，脱脂、漂白、加工而成的不含任何有色添加物质的医用脱脂棉。医用脱脂棉主要供医院临床作敷料用。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for medical absorbent cotton. This standard applies to medical absorbent cotton that does not contain any colored additives and is made from the hair of mature seeds of Gossypium genus Gossypium genus, after removing inclusions, degreasing, bleaching and processing. Medical absorbent cotton is mainly used as clinical dressing in hospitals.
