本标准适用于医用诊断X射线设备系统或部件的特性测定试验程序中对辐射条件的定义。
本标准规定了两种辐射条件，即在较好近似情况下可忽略散射辐射的一次辐射条件（RQR、RQA、RQC、RQT、RQB、RQN-M和RQB-M）和为了模拟患者而包含散射辐射的辐射条件（RQN、RQB、RQN-M和RQB-M）。除了乳腺摄影外，本标准不适用于那些改善了的辐射束特性，这些特性特意选用了某些辐射吸收素（例如稀土），而这些元素导致了光谱的不连续性。

Scope

This standard applies to test procedures for characterizing medical diagnostic X-ray equipment systems or components that require well-defined radiation conditions. With the exception of mammography, this standard does not apply where discontinuous radiation-absorbing elements are deliberately selected to improve the characteristics of the radiation beam (e.g., rare earth filter plates). Radiation conditions for sensitivity measurements of screen-film systems are not included in this standard. This standard covers methods for producing radiation beams under radiation conditions that are commonly used by testing laboratories or manufacturers to determine the characteristics of medical diagnostic X-ray equipment.
