本标准修改采用ISO 10637:1999《牙科设备 高容量和中容量吸引系统》。
本标准规定了高容量和中容量吸引系统的性能和安全要求及其试验程序；
本标准适用于构成牙科设备中高容量和中容量吸引系统。
本标准与ISO 10637:1999《牙科设备 高容量和中容量吸引系统》的不同之处：
———根据目前国内牙科设备高、中容量吸引系统应用的情况，牙科综合治疗设备可以不包含吸引系
统，本标准作为推荐性标准，删除ISO 10637:1999标准1范围中“该系统通常为牙科综合治疗设备整体的一部分”的表述。
———根据国内牙科设备高、中容量吸引系统的临床分类，删除ISO 10637:1999标准中5.3.1.2对单次手术使用的、具有独立吸引机的高容量吸引系统的要求。同时删除ISO 10637:1999标准中7.3.1.3单次手术使用的、具有独立吸引机的高容量和中容量吸引系统的试验方法。
本标准的附录A为资料性附录。

Scope

This standard specifies the performance and safety requirements and test procedures for high- and medium-volume suction systems. It also includes requirements for manufacturer's instructions, labeling and packaging. This standard applies to high- and medium-volume suction systems forming part of dental equipment. Where applicable, the requirements of this standard take precedence over the GB 9706.1-2007 general standard when specified in the terms of this standard. This standard does not apply to low-volume suction systems.
