Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method for vibration of marine diesel engine shafting. This standard is applicable to the measurement of shafting vibration of marine diesel engines with three cylinders or more per cylinder. It can also be used for the measurement of shafting vibration of marine diesel engines with three cylinders or less, marine internal combustion engines and piston compressors, and other powered ships. Refer to use.
