Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, design and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine electric control butterfly valves with flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces in accordance with GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, testing and acceptance of electric butterfly valves for ship piping systems.
