Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for the structural design of battery loading hatches on submarine pressure hull shell plates and their strength calculation methods. This standard is applicable to the design and calculation of the reinforced structure with the battery loading hatch located within the first frame spacing of the pressure hull and with a rectangular opening along the long side in the circumferential direction.
