Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the structural type, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rubber soft seal gate valves (hereinafter referred to as gate valves). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of gate valves with nominal pressures PN0.6MPa~2.5MPa, nominal diameters DN50mm~800mm, made of ductile iron, and used for urban water supply and drainage.
