Scope

This standard specifies the structural type and size, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and supply of soft-sealing gate valves for urban water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as gate valves). This standard is applicable to nominal sizes DN50~DN900 (wherein, if the nominal size is not larger than DN400, the nominal pressure is less than or equal to PN25; if the nominal size is larger than DN400 and not larger than DN900, the nominal pressure is less than or equal to PN16), the maximum operating temperature is 80°C. Design, manufacture and acceptance of urban water supply and drainage gate valves with flange or socket interface type connection and ductile iron shell.
