Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for seismic station observation site selection, construction of outer piers (wells) and observation rooms, observation equipment configuration and data archiving. This standard applies to the new construction, expansion and reconstruction of national and regional seismic stations. It can be used as a reference for the site survey and construction of other seismic stations.
