Scope

This standard specifies the tensioning, tightening, and accessory installation and construction techniques for 1000kV overhead transmission line conductors, ground wires, and composite optical cables (hereinafter referred to as OPGW). This standard is applicable to the tension wiring construction of 1000kV overhead transmission lines. The following construction methods shall be implemented as follows: 1. Large-span tension wiring construction. 2. Tension wire construction using transition method. 3. Tension wire construction using circular pulling method, etc.
