Key technical requirements
Gas sealing system
The standard clearly requires that the annual leakage rate of SF6 gas equipment should be less than 0.5%, and fresh gas must be used for on-site installation. Compared with the 2010 version, the gas purity detection requirement (Clause 10.3.101.10) has been added.
Mechanical characteristics test
The factory test stipulates that the circuit breaker needs to undergo more than 200 mechanical operation tests (Clause 7.102), and measure the travel-time characteristic curve to ensure that the contacts are fully run-in.
Implementation recommendations
- 363kV and above GIS transportation should be equipped with vibration recorders (Clause 10.2)
- Temporary clean rooms are recommended for outdoor installation (Clause 10.3.1)
- Regular verification test cycle ≤ 8 years (Clause 6.1.1)
Technology evolution analysis
This standard incorporates special technical specifications for pot insulators (Appendix C) and insulating pull rods (Appendix E) for the first time, improving the quality control system of core components of GIS equipment. Compared with the IEC standard, 1100kV UHV equipment parameters (Clause 4.3) have been added.
